Online Hypnotherapy – Professional Support From the Comfort of Home
Are you looking for a convenient and effective way to access therapy without leaving your home? Our online hypnosis sessions offer expert help for issues such as anxiety, stress, phobias, confidence issues, and more — all delivered remotely via Zoom or other secure video platforms.
Whether you’re juggling a busy schedule or feel more comfortable in your own surroundings, online hypnosis provides a flexible, accessible, and fully private experience that works just as effectively as in-person therapy.
What Is Online Hypnotherapy?
Online hypnotherapy is the delivery of professional hypnosis sessions via secure video conferencing platforms such as Zoom. With the rise of digital technology, this format has become a widely used and trusted way to access therapy especially for those who may have previously struggled with travel, time constraints, or social anxiety.
During an online hypnotherapy session we can use hypnotherapy to place you into a deeply relaxed and focused state of awareness (hypnosis) while you remain fully conscious and in control. In this state, your subconscious mind becomes more receptive to positive suggestions, enabling you to make changes to unhelpful habits, thoughts, or emotional responses.
Why Choose Online Hypnosis?
People choose online hypnotherapy for many reasons, including:
-
Convenience: No need to travel as you can access sessions from your own home.
-
Comfort: Being in familiar surroundings can help you feel more relaxed, which often makes hypnosis more effective.
-
Accessibility: Ideal for clients with mobility issues, social anxiety, or those living in rural areas.
-
Privacy: Sessions are fully confidential, and no one needs to know you’re attending therapy.
-
Flexibility: We offer daytime and evening appointments to suit your schedule.
With professional standards upheld by the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) and other leading bodies, online hypnosis is a safe and well-regarded option for personal change.

What Can Online Hypnotherapy Help With?
Online hypnosis is suitable for a wide range of emotional, psychological, and behavioural issues. Some of the most common issues we work with include:
- Phobias and fears (e.g., flying, driving, public speaking)
We tailor every session to your individual needs and use evidence-based techniques to ensure long-lasting change.

What to Expect from Your Online Hypnosis Session
Each online hypnotherapy session typically lasts around 60 minutes. Here’s how it works:
1. Initial Contact
You can contact us via phone or email to book your appointment. We’ll discuss your needs and explain the process. Call us on 01636 650 521 or use our contact form to talk to a therapist.
2. Agree a Time Slot
If you want to arrange a session you can agree a time slot with your therapist. After this has been agreed a payment for the session is taken and you are sent a confirmation email and link where you can login for your appointment.
3. Session Setup
We conduct sessions primarily over Zoom. If this is your preferred method we will send you a secure, private link to join your session. Sessions can also be arranged via Facebook Video Messenger and Facetime.
Before your appointment, ensure that:
-
Your internet connection is stable
-
You’re using a computer or tablet with a webcam and microphone
-
You’re in a quiet, comfortable space where you won’t be disturbed (not cats or dogs in the room)
-
You have headphones or speakers for clear audio
4. The Session Itself
The first session will involve a comprehensive assessment usually followed by hypnosis. Your hypnotherapist will guide you through gentle relaxation techniques, followed by hypnotic suggestions tailored to your issue. You will remain aware and in control throughout the process.
5. Following Your Session
You may be given a self-hypnosis download to listen to at home or worksheets that can help you with positive change. These are free for clients but can be purchased in our online store.

Is Online Hypnotherapy As Effective As In-Person Sessions?
Yes studies and our own client experiences show that online hypnosis is just as effective as face-to-face sessions. As long as you are in a quiet, private environment with a good internet connection, the results are comparable.
In fact, many clients find it easier to relax at home, making the therapy even more effective. The flexibility and comfort of online sessions mean that more people can access help exactly when they need it.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
The number of sessions varies depending on the issue you’re addressing. For example:
-
Phobias may take between 2–4 sessions
-
Confidence or self-esteem work typically involves 3–6 sessions
-
Anxiety and stress often respond well within 3-6 sessions
Some of our sessions are held as programs such as Weight Loss, Drink Less Alcohol and Stop Smoking. This will be discussed with you on an initial call.
